MDA has acquired wide experience in providing representation in legal counsel for directors, executives and employees of private companies and administrations in the case of legal and administrative actions regarding environmental protection, workplace safety, development, urban planning, and landscape protection, assisting and advising companies accused of environmental offence and crimes related to the workplace health and safety, as specified by Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.
Also through prior assessments on the compliance of the company’s records and documents, MDA provides opinions on emissions into the atmosphere, waste water discharge, waste disposal and recovery, by-products, acoustic and electromagnetic pollution, VIA, VAS, AUA (EIA, SEA, UEP) procedures and the remediation and restoration of polluted sites, even within urban reconversion and town planning operations.
Our professional activity ā both in judicial and consulting matters ā also covers acts of limitation and delegations of tasks regarding workplace safety and environmental protection, environmental damage and the respective insurance and taxation profile, environmental and local fees and is developed by assessing business structures and procedures (due diligence also in collaboration with the other areas of the firm).
MDA also assists companies in the legal aspects of ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 (workplace health and safety) certifications.
